Traveling Native Vision

Native cultural exchanges open minds and hearts to the otherness of a place and a people. Traveling Native is a way of approaching another culture by engaging in local lifestyle, customs and festivities.

Andee Sorenson founded Traveling Native to bring people in contact with the indiginous ways of Italian life. She spent ten years working and studying in the Italian provinces of Siena and Lucca. Today she organizes and manages travel experiences in Italy and Italian culinary events in the USA.

In 2009, Traveling Native launched Food of Tuscan Farmers Cooking Workshops with Aurelio Barattini in California. Learn about upcoming dates in California and Philadelphia.
