Aurelio is a chef, a teacher and a restaurant proprietor from Lucca, Italy.
Born and raised above his family's restaurant, Aurelio was cradled and cultivated by the flavors of The Food of Tuscan Farmers. His main ingredients come from a long lineage food producers and cooks from both Tuscany and Emilia-Romagna regions. Today he is preserving a century-old family legacy of food hospitality at his restaurant, L'Antica Locanda di Sesto.
Aurelio's cooking carries the culinary story of Lucca. He travels across cultures to share Native Italian recipes and Old World methods with food lovers, students and professionals.
